Actually I've decided that any sailing video that has music over the actual sailing, isn't worth my time.

GeeBeeZFlyer thanks for the reply. Nice. Good info. But to me it is cringy to hear any music with sailing videos. Music of any kind really isn't appropriate for a sailing video. I guess you guys get a kick back some how from including music?

I have to agree the music is cheesy... lol. As for the jib, it was standard on early Quba versions, when it was called the RS Q'Ba. It is small but does make a difference when trimming upwind (it is not self-tacking). You may find other videos on this channel where the rigging is more evident, like this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Sc7OKFXjXk (you may want to mute the audio though...). Cheers.

William Terwogt It does look like a quba, I wonder if the jib was an improvised add on. It's so small I it's difficult that it's adding to much to the performance. And maybe I missed something, but I didn't see him handling jib sheets when tacking
