Rather than using Vasoline, which degrades the o-rings, just flush a couple of tablespoons of olive oil every week or two as needed.

Could you please let us know when the filming occurred? We also plan to sail the Mediterranian however, we plan to do that during winters ... October - April and have the boat out of the water for maintenance during the summer months while everyone is on the beach :)

Alex Gray. Hi there, we arrived in formentera in April and left Minorca in mid June 2017. I think the weather can be wild in winter months, the Mistral blasts without warning and can set some terrible seas, but with a good eye on the weather, a good anchor and a bit of bottle, there is great sailing to be had in piece and quiet. After late June I gets silly busy! Thanks for watching and fair winds.

To make a lighter brown or wholemeal loaf make the dough slacker (wetter) than you would for a white loaf and let it prove longer.

Another fab vid. Thank you both for sharing. Great to see so much sailing and learning new stuff by doing such as anchoring under sail. Lets see you sail off the anchor next. My boat is a long keel junk rig and points about the same as yours but wouldn't swap for the twitchy racer any time. Enjoy the comforts and the lazy, stress free sailing she give you.

Great as always. Really enjoy your vlog. I guess I full keel 40 foot ketch just don't point well to windward, but then look at all the amenities you have compared to that fractional rig aft cockpit boat you were sailing with. I would take Bora Bora over that any day. Most cruising is downwind anyway....right?
