https://www.facebook.com/sailinglavagabonde like us on Facebook to see what unseen footage Riley releases! Off we go, gybing out the notoriously busy Gibraltar Strait. Sea container ships galore... and La Vagabonde amongst the mayhem trying not to get in anyones way. Our good pal Josje is back to help us with the sail down to the Canary Islands, we love her! Join us as we set off on an entirely new adventure. Yachtsman given large fine for ignoring the TSS

SafranIgnoring theTraffic Separation Scheme (TSS) in the Dover Strait (or anywhere else, for that matter) can be very costly, as ocean yachtsman Marc Guillemot, skipper of the French racing yacht Safran, discovered when he was fined £9,381 and made to pay costs of £4,125 today for travelling the wrong way in busy shipping lanes near Dover.

I didn't catch the location for march though!
i follow you since the beginning, it did not seem to me hard to ride on the gold
Bonjour, votre expérience est formidable, je vous suis depuis le début et il ne me semblait pas que vous rouliez sur l'or, du coup je me pose une question : comment avez vous fiancé le cata outremer ?

Rick in Hawaii
.
I also love when the girls are together.. they light up and are too cute together...
I have three years left, hopefully, so I will live vicariously through you. The environment shots draw me in...the history and wildlife fills my soul until I can experience it myself...fair winds and calm seas.
Do you guys have planed to meet SV Delos somewhere around the Caribbean Sea?
Another awesome episode.
Seriously, I just finished catching up from your first video to your last. I found you guys after finding Sailing SV Delos and realizing that there are more than a couple people/crews who document their sailing lives. Now, having caught up with your episodes I'm going to have to wait for the new vids like everyone else. : - (
I really enjoy and appreciate what you guys are doing. I started sailing when I was 15 (now in my early 60's) and have worked my way up to a 20' Paceship P2-20. I'd like to do some ocean sailing but my local Big lakes (NYS's Finger Lakes) are lots of fun and I'm not sure my 20 footer is good for much more than 2-3 foot seas.
PS - Is there a way to know where La Vagabonde is at any given time? In Florida, USA yet?

Guy
Were you aware about the TSS (Traffic Separation Scheme)?
You are supposed to keep out or sail in line with the published direction and only allowed to cross at 90° according to the IMO rules!
Oh, and it's great to see Josje again as well!
Hey how come i dont get a heart
I always wait for you latest on Mondays. Fair winds. Cheers.
Riley: "Shower while stomping on your clothes to kill 2 birds with one stone"
Another awesome episode stolen and enjoyed immensely. The best part of your videos over almost all others, is that you focus not only on the destination but the journey as well. Riley talks about wind and effects on your travels and how your getting there etc. Its awesome. Thanks again guys for another awesome glimpses into your adventures. Love you guys, XOXO from Canada.
Apple used to offer an option of paying extra for a matte display, but I guess they hate giving their customers options. Now, it's all reflections and blinding highlights. Thanks Apple.
I felt like I was right there
Watching your videos makes me realise I need to change my life but I'm not sure about what I want to do.
I love the sea, but don't have the funds to sustain a lifestyle like yours :(
Keep doing what you do, you keep dreams alive for those who dream.
And what a delightful treat to see Josje again with you guys ... she always brings a ray of sunshine and has a wonderful effect on people wherever she goes.
Good luck with the high winds and rolling ocean getting through the Strait ...
it had better if it was three videos in week
But I am with you about the metric system...
Take care.

You say we are insulting to you but it really is you that has the illconcieved hostility toward U.S.
Sorry 'mate'
Btw: I used the rest of such chair, to make a moveable laptop workplace...
Thanks so much for all this.
And I <3 Yogi tea quotes!
It's another great episode. Josje is a great crew member too!
Keep it up!
Aloha!
