Mark and Ryan from Hobie Division 11 demonstrating how high wind sailing is done at Fort Walton Beach Florida November 10th 2011. This was shot during the Hobie 16 & 20 North American Championships however races had already been called off for the day because of high winds and cold. The wind was out of the North 25kts, the committee boat recorded gusts of 38kts but a few boats went out to play anyway. Mark and Ryan finished 3rd overall for 16s for the event. This was recorded with two GoPro HD cameras.

I don't know how you can skipper a boat while the crew is constantly changing the traveler. I've never seen anything like that before. Not the crew's job.

Awesome video guys! Where do you have the gopro mounted? On the side of the mast? I'm jealous you guys are still sailing. I'm locked in here in Indiana. But I'm moving to florida this summer!
