The winds were crazy this day. It was choppy and gusty, and yes, it doesn't look like it. The boat almost flipped when we were on the shore trying to stand the mast. I can get the NOAA report from this day for you if you need it... LOL

Yeah, we spent most of the day actually TRYING to flip it... The starboard hull had a crack and was full of water, so we couldn't get it up high enough to pitchpole. And as the weight of the water shifted forward and back made it really difficult to control. Thanks for watching.

@hank5by5 It depends on how stiff the boat is, changes massively from boat to boat! The trampoline tension makes loadsa difference as well.

yea, very cool...do get the bodies to stern though, and together like someone else mentioned. You can really see the hulls twisting in your video, kinda funny, but I don't have vids of me sailing the 16, I guess that is how it looks from afar?

Yeah, it was fun to get another boat out and shoot us. The starboard hull was full of water from a cracked bottom. that is why we were having so much trouble controlling it and it was twisting. Thanks for watching! :)

nice work guys, though just a tip... keep your crew weight together out on the wire and the crew should be back with the skipper. H16s sail with a fair bit of rocker so you need to get that weight back ;-)
