Any advice for how to do this on a sunfish? The sails big, the boom is really low, and there's usually only one person in the boat so they have to pull the mainsail in and steer at the same time

Very, very excellent. Just finished an ASA basic sailing class with a lot of tacking and jibing drills on a Catalina 22 - very fun; but, jibing seemed intuitively more complicated than tacking because my instructor was teaching me to forget relying on instruments and focus more on feeling the wind on my face, cheeks, ears, and neck both while sailing my course and when heading up or bearing away. I finally figured out the wind seems to 'die down' on the broad reach & run, - THANKS!
