+Josh Hitchings Josh, try this. Ease the outhaul on the main to add fullness down low. On a Genoa or headsail, move the sheet blocks forward one or two holes at a time. This places more tension on the Genoa leech to add some fullness. This is a fine adjustment; you do not want to stall the sail.  As you trim (both sails), watch your knot meter. It will tell you if the trim adjustment has been positive. Remember that rudder angle plays a big role in speed. Use minimum wheel or tiller (one to two degrees). On the other hand, a flatter shape can be an advantage in ghosting conditions (winds 0-3 knots). In that case, I would keep the outhaul set with moderate tension to keep the mainsail flat down low. This makes it easier for super light air to stay glued to the sail. Critical in super light air will be shape, weight and rudder position. Sit to leeward and forward to help your sail drop into shape through gravity. Use absolute minimum rudder angle (1 to 2 degrees maximum) to reduce drag.
