use it all the time on any size jib/genoa never had a problem

Thanks John, I agree 100 percent. The larks head isn't really a knot, which is exactly what you don't want as the Genoa overlaps the mast and must slide across it when tacking and jibing. Knots or clevises just add to the drag and inhibit the cross over, especially annoying in light winds. However they can be used on jibs with a shorter foot like the storm jib which is short enough to clear the mast while maneuvering.

Nice video - would the lark's head be ok with various size jibs or is it only recommended for the Genoa?
