maybe if you explain it to your crew you might get so frustrated.  Show them how so you don't have to worry.Do this before heading way. And make sure you don't lose your handle down the drink.  If you are going to have your crew remove it before handling the line you might want to have a leash or specific spot for it rather than down in the boat some where.  Im sure they can "tighten it up" and with proper etiquette they will make you go allot better in your seamanship as a captain or boat owner.
