Hi, I am 15 and wanted to sail, but had the lack of money to do so. So I made a tiny 7.5' sailboat. I took it sailing for the first time 3 days ago, and I am making some modifications to it now, and I was wondering what a jib does, and should I put it on my sailboat? I'm worried that another sail on my boat might make it capsize seeing its so small. I also had some trouble tacking, and ended up stranded on a beach. Got any tips for tacking, and would a jib help at all? -Thanks
