How do you shrink the sail if the wind is too strong so you don't capsize or tilt too much into the water? I tried looking for a video and seem to not find any. I know the sail goes up with these little sliders so do you just bring it a little down and roll it or something so only a portion of it is actually being used? If you can point me to a video or if you can make one, it would be great.

Belated reply, but try searching for something like 'how to reef your mainsail.' Reefing is an indispensable sailing skill and isn't difficult at all, if done before its needed. Cheers.

Thanks Kevin. This will be useful for our beginner sailors on the North West coast UK in Morecambe Bay. We teach on a similar small keelboat, a Jeanneau Sun 2000.
