Only on large boats. cus on small boats you simply dont have enough weight or kinetic energy to cause any damage (the hull is a factual absolute number strong, and takes knocks this and that big, and to hit something hard enough to cause damage you need weight and speed, otherwise a wave would wreck your boat).

only on large boats that ice causes damage. on small boats you simply dont have enough weight or kinetic energy to do any damage when you hit something (you may get a few tiny scratches but just re-paint it once in a while). The reason why we know that and those over there don't is because we tried it instead of letting the health and safety people ruin our fun :P

its ice, so yes, but there is no such thing as bad weather, there's just bad clothes. Also its T-shirt weather until the day you have to dig your way out of the house because its snow everywhere :P

yer at llsc the lake is so frosen people were walking on it and there were 2 sailing things with like ice skate blades on but i wont be sailing cos there are a load of hardcore sailors at our club and even they wont go out untill the ice is propperley thawed cos the ice can wreck your bow if you hit a lump

ok now i have to launch of snow but i dought ill get the chance in australia. some of those conditions are hectic id be so happy if i got those winds every wweek
