I used a gopro, which in my opinion is by far the best and most dynamic camera in terms of how it can be used.

As the video progresses the wind picks up. But if memory serves me correct i went on sailflow after to check what it was so it should be accurate. Where i was sailing (Bristol Ri) was really protected in terms of waves so it might not look it by the waves but I think it was.

use a flat sticky mount just behind the blue hook. The take a thin line and run it from the joint in the case where the axle is so that it can be tied to the hook.

no, I used a sticky flat mount. You can fit a thin line through the gopro to attach it to the blue hook to make sure it does not come off.

Haha, you got away with a big barge. He could have really slammed the door on you (and should have). There is a skipper in the local lighting fleet who has the most perfect time/distance sense. After a few run-ins I now make sure to keep her to windward of me!

I was going to jybe but when i started to head down I couldn't get myself back into the boat, so once my but hit the water i was screwed because i lost all speed and it increased my windward heel making it even harder to get back in, so at that point I was done for. lol
