This game seems like it would be fun for 5 maybe 10 minutes at the most. I couldn't justify paying 20 USD for it honestly, much less 60.

I like it but it needs a update (graphical things PS4 Slowdown replays, and certain tracks and start gate glitch.) But it only needs tweeked, cause these 450s A.I riders are kicking my azz. I'll be it everything on hardest. I held a top 2 in heat. Lost it (rewind off of course) so I have to run it. Anyone notice how much grip you get on one track, and spin like heck on others. Setting (The Real Thing) (all hard settings) (AI simulation) no replays) settings.) I won 3 250 races. But finished 11th in points! First 450 race, 20th in main. Not first play just first career 450. I, played for hours, also aced the AI like nothing on MXGP 3. Im getting waxed on this. If you over ride certain tracks your done. But most tracks the AI is way better then I thought. I dont know what AI people are filmimg. But I know they must have some help on. Even if its not choosing (the real thing) in the beg, Even the hardest AI and your bike will be way easier then when that settings not on. Dont worry if everything is set max difficulty, if you case a jump and loose rythem on hardest,, youll get passed,,, by many.

Compared to MXGP3 how is this riding in this game? I hated 3 because the bikes handled like lead weights and did nothing, is it similar in this one?

I didn't try it in 3. I did the first 2 races in career and just quit the game. Nothing I did was able to make the bike turn. From the video this one seems to be a little more arcade than the MXGP series.

I'd say they made it better overall for the Supercross side of things. If you remember the SX track on the compound in MXGP3, it kinda of sucked because everything was so small and momentum didn't seem to work. The bike does still feel really floaty at times and sluggish at others but they did make it rewarding for getting lines clean and it seems to work decently so far.

Probably just gonna wait for MX vs ATV All Out, this game has great graphics but the physics are terrible and the fact that you can case everything without cosequence is ridiculous, mx vs atv has much better physics and when you case shit you pay the price for it.

I just did Round 1 of the east coast. Won by 30 seconds on a stock bike, on realistic difficulty and normal physics, no rewinds. And I'm not that great at the game yet. Not a fan of how easy the AI seems to be. I haven't done the 4GB update yet though that I saw on Xbox live. Maybe that will make the AI better, but not getting my hopes up. Anyone else notice this?

Well Milestone didn’t make Reflex, Rainbow Studios did. So Milestone will definitely not go back towards Reflex because they never did it in the first place but I can understand that you want it to be more free feeling like Reflex was and they are definitely going away from that

There's a track in this game on the 250 East calendar, literally just played it last night but forgot which one (I think it's like rd 4), but it has a rhythm section that just doesn't work on the 250, at least for me. I'm on The Real Thing/Full Race settings, so I had like 15 mins to try out different stuff and just can't get it to work. I feel like there's a misplaced jump or two, cause even the AI sucked through it. I think you're supposed to tap one of the jumps, but it's way too steep. Idk.

So I know there are real bike sponsors like monster and rockstar in the game because you know Dungey has red bull and you can go and look at the official riders and they all have the actually sponsors. I doubt that Monster or Red Bull will be an option for sponsors in Career but there are a lot of options I’ve seen available so far. Not sure why you’re stuck using the decals they give you with the sponsor but I’m not far enough into the game yet to know how much customization you’ll have with each one

The problem with this company is they try to make the game look so realistic then miss out on the whole point of these types of games, the physics and gameplay. In no other mx game can you case a triple and ride on top of riders heads and still make it out into first. Cant wait for the new mx vs atv game. Milestone is ass.

DOES NOT EXPLORE THE OPTIONS --> "I guess there is only main events" ---> KELLEN, YOU HACK FRAUD!!!
In this game you can have practice + qualifying (just 1 session) + heats + (LCQ) + main event if you set it that way. Also, the races are done the modern way around so they are time-based (I hope they include that in MXGP4). Oh, and the game gives you a bit more control over everything if you decide to say "fuck you" to all riding aids.

Took me about a full 2 races to get used to the unchangeable control settings, but a super fun game! I have mine setup for a full race (qualifying, heats, lck if you need it, and main) all set for full race time, and after 1 race I am already a level 16 from where you start as a level 3. Super fun game!

This game has a lot of buggy issues. For me, when I got to Atlanta (i think it was atl), the audio just bugged out and shut down completely, and ever 30ish seconds, the game would suffer a frame rate drop and freeze for a moment. I'm on an early model xb1.

The reason why it looks so awkward is because the mechanics built into the game always auto-correct/adjust everything the player does. So like when you go into the air and lean your bike off to one side, your rider just automatically starts readjusting to make everything nice and neat. It's a way to keep the game easier for players I'm guessing. You know like in Sim, everything you do, you're committed to it, but in this game, you can just wobble around in the air and stuff

You’d be surprised honestly. This game has been getting promoted in many places beyond just the Supercross series itself. I’ve personally seen banners for it at Target and others have said they saw similar banners at GameStop. Even general motorsports fans (I.e. like F1 or NASCAR) are probably going to at least try this game out and tons of those people have no clue how to ride a dirt bike. It’s hard to believe, but the “die hards” are a much smaller representation of the buyers than you think

Somethings I’ve learned myself and I’ve been playing it since 12am. 1. Don’t use the clutch unless your at a dead stop if you f up a corner even then it still seems useless, especially on starts your better off full throttle and shift once the gate starts to drop and hammering through to 3rd, 2. The whoops is where you can be the fastest if you quick shift to 5th you will carry the most speed helpful in career on realistic. 3 because it isn’t the best with scaling and the rhythm sections are wonky it is more of a playing with the gas but when coming out of corners there is a sweet spot where if you time the shift right clearing those triples and such become less of a problem.

Good information! I actually didn’t start with manual shifting so that I’ll need to change up. Definitely learned the clutch generally sucks already but you’re definitely right about the sweet spot of the throttle and such. Will try this all out!

One Cooked Camel I just gave Arlington a try and the way I’ve been playing given I’m using the method I had commented about, I’m having no issues with Arlington.

One Cooked Camel play with the gas and back brake while in 3rd or shift down to 2nd and right as you are exiting the turn shift to 3rd. If you time your shifts right in this game with corners it seems to give you that little bit more. Once you get it you will notice the difference, but it is gonna take a few hits and misses to get it.
