According to Open Bic web site, adult can sail this as long as the weight is within the limit. But I haven't seen any adult doing it in youtube I'm kind of embarrassed to go out and try one.
Can you imagine going to a sailing lesson and being asked over and over, "Where's your kid?"
And if you capsize it's no Problem!!!
