The game features cross-platform play between Windows-based personal computers and Xbox One video game consoles. A group of players travel and explore an open world via a pirate ship and assume different roles such as steering, hoisting sails, navigation, and firing cannons. Players embark on quests, collect loot and engage in combat with other players. Sea of Thieves is a shared game world, which means groups of players will encounter each other regularly throughout their adventures. If you block with your sword and heavy attack at the same time, you can jump and move faster while you prepare for the attack

it is possible to do the fast swim if your on a server with high ping. All you have to do is delay the pickup of the item. so you would Drop, sprint, wait half a second longer, then pickup.

A lot of great tips, but we're overlooking the obvious. Time is money, and every moment you aren't at your PC or Xbox playing Sea of Thieves, is every moment wasted not earning. Replace your gaming chair with a bucket and no more annoying bathroom breaks are needed. The time savings really adds up, especially on spicy fish taco tuesdays.

This is supposed to be pro tips but the first two you talk about are assigning key binds and audio. Seems pretty basic to me and probably most other experienced players

I have a tip for you my friend; in that last clip you made the wrong tactical choice. That brig just ran aground and you had the chance to board but choose to engage the guy who jumped off, losing your chance to board. The guy who jumped off was out of the fight and meant one less person on the brig to defend it. Killing him actually did him a favour as he needed to be back on his boat. If you'd ignored him and went for the board instead, you might have sunk those guys by defending the hole they just put in themselves by running aground.

UltimaPowers I see people do this a lot, and you’re totally right. Always take advantage if an enemy crew member pussies out to eliminate the others. If he’s running, chances are he won’t be the best at fighting anyway even if he comes back especially if he’s missing his crew.

When a kraken has wrapped around your ship, ignore that tentacle and cannon the nearest tentacle in the water. You might have to also hit the next tentacle that shows up closest to you after you kill the first, but the wrapped tentacle will always detach afterwards.

Charging your thrust when blocking and when you thrust with your sword jump at the end of the thrust or in the startup of it.When Climing up a ladder you can drop from the top of it then cach it at the end of the ladder so that the ship your bording thinks you miss clicked but your still on it works trust me

JBoss5678 the gloves are called bilge rat something (I think) and the gold thing is a new cosmetic ‘curse’ and can be obtained by completing ALL tall tale commendations including journals and tale replays

!!!!Here is a tip i don't hear people talk about... You don't take damage from gunpowder explosions if your hiding in a cannon great for running forts solo or if some drops a barrel on your ship just hide in the cannon and u wont take any damage

that fast swim is not working lol.. my friends think it does and every time they do it and i follow them in water with my "normal" swim with shift i do exact speed lol...
it only looks like it is faster but in reality not. check your facts 1st :)

Nice tips but I really hate this trend going around where EVERY game had to be Esports ready and people need to be the best or high tier players etc. Can we just have a game that's fun and not competitive to the point everyone feels the NEED to be try hards? It's just annoying I can't do anything in the game without having to sink or be sunk by people. There's no working together or having funny experiences because everyone is terrified in this game. Shame Rares vision for this game is being changed because of such a competitive community

I was excited when I heard Rare wanted this to be a fun adventure game where you make your own story in the world during its initial release. I've been getting really tired of the "Prove you're better than everyone else" going on with every online game these days. Guess that's just the day and age we live in though
