That last gybe to starboard was mean

Ruins their race and it is completely outside of their control. Worst feeling ever when it happens to you.

I know how the game works and how it differs to real life, I'm just saying it is a bit mean, even though it is technically legal

In the final downwind move under normal ISAF sailing rules the boat which gybed would be deemed to have not given the port boat time to keep clear and therefore the penalty would be awarded the other way around. However in the game moves like this are allowed and can seem somewhat unfair. Tune in next week when we will look at downwind and mark rounding in more detail to look at how we can avoid penalties like this and some interesting mark rounding situations! Thanks for watching.

Im not sure i liked that last gybe onto starboard, right on top of him, he had little chance to react !!
But as its virtual then poss a good tactic ??
