Isolated in the middle of the Indian Ocean, the remoteness protects this island that belongs to Mauritius, yet is so different. Rodriguez Dancing, Rodrigues food...everything..it’s all different here. And Sailboats can tie up to the wharf free of charge and fix a sailboat. Patrick Childress feels this is one of the most yacht friendly islands in the world. Black Marlin Fishing offers great deep sea fishing trips, and exploring the island by motor scooter is fantastic since there are smooth roads, and little traffic.
