Yes but "Dan" has seen very little use during our shorter sails in the Sea of Cortez, we had him steering us a few times on our longer overnight sails.

Wow, I've got some catching up to do with your channel! Nicely done, as usual. Do you guys use your wind vane much, and do you have an autopilot as well?

Chuck nice to see you watching this episode, we have not used the wind vane too much during the summer on short hops through the sea. We had "Dan" steering us for our last 130 mile leg into the mainland and will have him going here in a few nights. We do also have an autopilot.

if you put a diving weight in the laundry bag off the back it will sink a bit more and do a better job washing.

Busy with life. Was watching wayyyy to many sailing blogs. Couldn't keep up with them, even five or six. Had to unsubscribe to a few. Really sucked, I like following peoples adventures. I had to stop using pateron, budget cuts. So in the mean time thank you for sharing for free. I love you guys and your style, Mexico is our first destination, and maybe last. Seems so great down there compared to the other cruising grounds. The heat is sure scary, but it has been ten below here.... Thank you very much and keep up the awesome work!!!

You don't pronounce the u in Mulege, it floods out everytime a hurricane goes through, so watch out it's hurricane season. Not only vacation homes, our friends live full time in Chavato.

Just back from Lapland and the Artic Circle. Tomorrow more boat building. Nice to spend Sunday morning watching this video of warmer climates. It was 1°C in Äkälompelo when we left. Had a crazy idea that after my studies in September 2018 we'd all spend 9 months in the tiny cabin while my wife studies Hotel Management. That would be an interesting vlog also. As it can get well below -30°C and there's no sunlight for months on end....

Looks like Hurricane Norma is definitely going to give you guys a miss, at least that's the vib i'm going to send out.
Hate to seem pedantic, but, I've found once I used it for a while, that the correct nautical terminology really didn't make me sound like an idiot trying to sound like pirate. It is very clear and concise. Very good when everything thing around you seems to going to shite in a handbag and someone is trying to hit you in the head with it.

If you get the chance, visit the inland town of San Ignaco, not far from you now- an amazing oasis in the mountains inland from Santa Rosalia. It is worth the trip..

Keep playing to your strengths. Continue to tell great stories. From canning meat to travel guides. I watch several sailing channels and most focus just on traveling. The reason I find your channel so interesting is you incorporate even what most would would consider mundane life into an interesting story. I started watching when you were preparing in the Columbia River. Your story wasn't much about travel, it was about work and persut of a dream. Refocus on the story of your dream (I can watch sights from any sailing channel). Play to your strengths. I want both of you to succeed.......you both have an unique story and dream let that vision show......best wishes....karl
