The crew brings the kite down with only 2 pulls. Notice how he brings his arms as high as possible before bringing the kite into the bag. This is not only faster, but eliminates the chance of "shrimping" the kite. In the second video, one can clearly see how much ground the team in 2nd makes on 1st with this douse. Moreover, they carry much more speed around the mark. This late douse can open up a world of layline possibilities from jumping ahead of a boat that barely has markroom on you, to gaining markroom on mass amounts of boats. With practice, this will become an invaluable tool.
