www.sailvation.com The first step to a successful bare boat yacht charter holiday Wherever you intend to sail, Greece, Italy, Mallorca or Turkey, a bare boat yacht charter holiday always starts with a complex technical boat handover on arrival at the charter base. To ensure easy handling of the yacht and the safety of the crew during your charter holiday, it is recommended you familiarise yourself with the technical aspects and sailing basics of your vessel before arriving for the actual handover at the beginning of your holiday. The SAILVATION Check-In DVD and technical handbooks provide a bareboat yachting guide and are the surest way to gain this advance familiarisation with your charter yacht. You will be guided through a step-by-step technical introduction, similar to the check-in received on arrival at the charter base. The hand book explains all the technical aspects of a yacht in short text and 200 illustrations. The DVD leads you through a boat handover in 40 minutes. These materials are not intended to replace your technical handover, but they prepare you for the procedure on arrival. It is always a hectic time and it is sometimes challenging to take in all the necessary instructions to safely handle your yacht. The Sailvation DVD and books are invaluable in helping you to to prepare for this and are also useful reference resources during your cruise with sailing tips and training at your finger tips. In addition to our technical DVD's and handbooks, you will also have access to free troubleshooting downloads which list the most common technical hiccups encountered with bareboat charters and shows you how to solve minor problems on board.
