Interesting. A long time ago I crewed on a 50' cutter to Neumea from Auckland. Along the way we witnessed, in rough seas, the depth going from thousands to about 40 mtrs. The skipper told us it's ok it will drop off again very soon as it did. He then informed us it was the highest mountain in the world. He did give it a name but I don't remember. Someone may tell us, or you may no yourselves. Love ya work.

Thanks, just goes to prove, that there are plenty of things to see and know about, but the things you can't see, are the ones you MUST know... love the passage! As always, love it!

Hi guys when I vacuum mine it’s usually fish and bait so I just lower the bag into a bucket of water with the corner to the top , as you lower it all the air is forced out and does the same

Minerva reef is a classic example of what you are talking about, although it's reputation does precede it and I'm sure there isn't a cruising boat in the Pacific that isn't aware of it. Fair winds and safe sailing

Ron Hatcher As a retired teacher, it is good to know I’ve still got it! And math was NOT my subject, for a good reason. Now if only someone would come up with a question on diagramming sentences or gerunds.....

According to stars.com, there are about 3 septillion (That’s a 3 followed by 24 0s!) stars in our universe, or about the same number as grains of sand on our earth! Wow! 3,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000!

The question was how many stars on this earth. Zero sorry you didn't pass the exam.
