Sailing Aedis Episode 32 - Preparing to cross the Atlantic with the ARC

How did we prepare to cross the Atlantic?? Join us as we sail down to Las Palmas to meet the rest of the ARC (Atlantic Rally for Cruisers) fleet, where we knuckle down to the 1047 jobs we need to do to prepare for our very first ocean crossing (approx 3000 nautical miles, 3 weeks at sea). We meet some lovely fellow cruisers, try to keep up with the ARC parties, pick up our final crew member Holly, and have some major rigging issues that threaten to prevent us from leaving at the last minute… A MASSIVE thank you to Jason and Tony from Ensign Yacht Brokers David, Jean-Mathieu, and Ben from Nautitech Jose and all the riggers from Alisios Sailing Centre, Las Palmas... You guys went well and truly above and beyond for us... We would not have made it to the start line without you!!! Am also interested to see what Nautitech say about the cracked components.
