I bind jump to right stick click. It gives maneuverability closer to PC. It allows jumping and turning where normally you would remove your thumb from stick to hit A. Really helps in PvP.

MrLookingatyou I jump with a paddle underneath the controller. If I didn't have that available to me what you suggested is a good alternative as well. Removing your thumb off the stick is putting players at a massive disadvantage like you mentioned.

alexis lacroix Sadly no, but you can do one dodge after landing which is a nice thing to throw in after you land. Can save your life.

T Hollins have you watched the defensive maneuvers video? There is a segment about greeting players at skeleton forts before they have time to setup. I should do a more in depth video about this topic though.

Sneakler Do have a video on skull fort tactics? That is my biggest weakness. Setting up the right approach. My PVP is not that good but can hold my own. I just get so demoralized when fighting for a fort for up to an hour and nothing to show for it. On the other hand when you win that fort after a long hard fight it’s super rewarding.

You showed the Sword Lunge Jump, if you do it and fall into the water close enough to a beach so that you can jump, (the animation stays longer in water, that's what makes the superswim possible). It'll make a Superswim Jump Lunge.

2nd degree, I'm just tired of pc players claiming that. Personnaly, I equal with pc players, but I'm sure a vid could help some "cross play disable option players" (on forums).

Any tips for aiming the cannon

I would just always aim behind where you want the shot to hit. The speed of your boat always makes the cannon shot hit ahead of where you are actually pointing. I hope that makes sense : ) Aiming in rough and choppy waters is difficult for everyone. Nobody can land every shot and nobody is perfect!
