The TT Express sailing to Tobago has been cancelled on Wednesday due to rough seas. A statement from the Board of the Port Authority of Trinidad and Tobago (PATT) and the Management of Trinidad and Tobago Inter-Island Transport Company Limited (TTIT) say the latest weather update is predicting waves within a range of seven to 12 feet from Wednesday 7th to Monday February 12th. This recent development will pose a challenge to the captain in maneuvering the vessel to and from Tobago. The travelling public is therefore being advised that these conditions will be monitored and if necessary, the sailings of the T&T Express may be affected. The Board of PATT and Management of TTIT say if the situation persists, a decision will be made to cancel all sailings, rather than expose passengers and the vessel to significant risks.
