For those who have not been on a Princess cruise I maintain that it has an excellent clear and no nonsense online booking system which is superior to other cruise lines.Clear pricing, good written and visual description of stateroom types and best of all(provided you are early enough) you can select your cabin on the deck level which suits you, e.g. one near the public areas or one well away from them.The deck plans clearly indicate what cabins are taken and what are still available.When you choose a cabin the price is clearly stated and you can then make the booking and proceed to give your details and arrange payment.This arrangement is so superior to those of cruise lines who want you to pay for the cabin and say that they will let you know at a later stage just where it is located.So good for you Princess for providing this customer friendly service!

Princess is (very) slowly coming around to the idea of "one price covers all" like many cruise lines. Frankly, I got tired of the picture taking frenzy, the "packages" for coffee, cokes, ice cream, etc (should be free) and after spending thousands having to pay for a "specialty" restaurant using food from the same kitchen as the "free" restaurant. really prefer Viking - expensive but no silly clubs or packages or negotiating excursions, waiting endlessly for wifi, tips, etc

The pizzas are totally different and not so good up by the pool. Also Alfredo's Pizzeria is only on the Regal, Royal, Sapphire, and Grand. Not sure if it will be on the new Sky launching this year.

If you are a drinker, get the unlimited drink package. Don't bother with wifi-it is slow and costly!

Hi Luke, you connect to the ships WiFi and it will open a web page for you. You don't need to pay for the ships Wifi to use it.

Yes, you request them before you sail through the Princess Cruises website. You can ask on-board though if they have any spare.

Great job! We love the mostly uncrowded International Cafe. It WAS a hidden jem with great quick dishes. I believe they even have soups available as well as grilled sandwiches et al. Excellent gourmet grab-and-go any time of day. Glad you had a great time.
