On the 29 I had to move the boat to land I owned and work 18 months without any type of insurance as when it was a 500 dollar boat it had far to many issues and as a Cal 29 owner I know all to well were all the warts are as things like the original fuel tank your using to fuel the outboard will not meet current requirements

Based mostly on MY skill level (which is MUCH less than yours)...I would feel comfortable on a similarly equipped boat for coastal cruising and some carefully timed overnight passages. *I* would not take that boat on a blue water crossing. But others have, and others will, and it can be done "safely." Maybe when I learn more... ;) .

Its Bacon Sails and marine supply (like the meat) Funny going there this week while at the boat show in Annapolis, some great used parts, cheap! Boat show is to have a beer in Annapolis and check cool stuff out.! ya. not nice...I'll take you anytime!!
