last weekend I sailed with 25 knots downwind it goes perfect but upwind is not his best position. but I did go faster then a splash

Hike to keep flat. If that isn't enough ease the mainsheet out a little. If that doesn't work bear away very slightly.

The trick is to get the sail really flat and not to sheet too tight upwind. If the boat slows down too much it stalls and just turns into the wind - then you're in trouble! Toppers are a lot of fun in 20knts but not the easiest boats to sail in these conditions! :-)
