I ended my Pacific circle on return to Vancouver BC Jul 2016 after having sold my boat. Now I'm boat less so enjoy your videos.

Wow! The sea caves were beautiful but kind of scary as well. Surprised me to see how many sea lions/seals were inside. Catalina Island was our family's main destination for vacations. We never knew that there was anywhere else to visit because Dad so loved sailing.

My first time anchoring was with a Tartan 35 in 100+ft just outside the sea wall at Avalon July 4th weekend 1976. It was a rental, and all we had was anchor, about 50' of chain and 250' of 1/2" rope. luckily sea condition was calm. I guess luck was with me that weekend. In subsequent trips, I just paid for mooring ball an slept much better.
