My wife and I sailing our 18 ft Hobie Cat in the ocean for the first time on our Thanksgiving 2009 vacation at Cherry Grove, Myrtle Beach, SC. Air and Water temperatures were around 60 degrees, probably a bit too cold for sailing without wetsuits. We're actually wearing rain suits. Winds were around 10 knots. We had a blast and can't wait for spring to come.
