This 450 pound black marlin was caught off Cairns, Australia. After about 22 minutes it panicks and goes down deep, where the sharks live. Big mistake. At least we got to keep the Bill! For a reference, at the end of the video when i'm holding the head, i'm 6'4". It might also be helpful to know that the boat is 65ft long and has a beam (width) of 17.5ft. For your information my good man or woman (I have to specify man or woman so your feeling don't get hurt) most people fish to catch and release. It isn't always to kill the fish you've caught. There are also rules and regulations to actually keep a fish, that is if people follow the rules. Sure, some people kill the fish they catch but they eat the meat they get from it. Also, there are many species of fish that are invasive species, meaning that there are so many fish of certain species that they are actually inhibiting the growth of other species by eating their eggs/young. Fishing can act as a way to control the population of invasive species so that other species do not become extinct. Same exact thing with hunting. Besides, it's better to work hard to earn your meals rather than becoming disconnected from what you eat and not appreciate the animals you eat. I hope this enlightens you to a better future and releases you from the ignorant clutch that is hindering you from Life's truths.
