Number 2, for all of the times I have been cage diving, a shark has always bitten the cage. When you amp them up with chum in the water, they get a bit frenzied and they taste everything. It is pretty standard, and part of the experience. You're asking them to come around, and they do. They also do what was triggered in them to do.

False. Shark attacks start with a bump. The shark is gently bumping you to see what the hell you are. Then they give a curiosity bite to see if you taste good. If the shark is incredibly hungry or thinks you taste good then they go in for the kill. Some sharks do not go in for the kill because they bite you and they think you taste bad, so they spit you out.
