A Bull Shark is not as big as a Great White. They are not small, but the hippo is way bigger than the Bull Shark, with thicker skin and hide. This is like putting a cheetah against a lion.
The shark literally nudges against him and then the hippo, STANDING on the floor of the lake or whatever, screeches out of the water...

Its a natural response but that means for that moment the shark doesn't know whats coming. That means a bull shark will meet a hippo upfront but consequently lose the battle pound for pound due to the hippos greater power and bulk.
Sharks are not as graceful as you think my friends. They are fast but not graceful, and rely more on overwhelming power rather than precision in a battle. Plus their not the smartest fighters in the water. In fact, dolphins have been known to strategically bump and outmaneuver sharks in a fight.
But what that hippo did to that shark, now THAT'S realistic.
#1 the bullshark would never be able to hurt the hippo
#2 the hippo would never catch the shark, unless it was on LAND
#3 none of these so called "animal face-off" are accurate at all.

1# the bull shark would most likely win if it happend cause the bull shark is much more agile and would just turn as soon as the hippo opened its mouth!
2# the hippo would only win if it could get the bite in that i most likely wouldnt cause the bull shark would most likely just swim around it and bite once in a while

You also have to take into account this species of shark needs to keep swimming in order to survive, so what would happen if the hippo held the bull shark in place with its massive mouth long enough ? Sharks drown if they stop moving because they need water to pass over their gills in order to breathe. Sharks don't have gas filled bladders like other species of fish, so they rely on an oil filled liver for buoyancy.
With all these factors working against the shark how could it possible win ? Speed only gets you so far in fight. Animals specifically also need to be more tenacious, powerful, and many cases bigger to help them win their battles. Speed is good to have on your side but if that's all you bring to a fight then you will be lacking in terms of delivering a decisive and deadly blows. What's worse in this case Hippocampus are actually very fast in the water and on land so the shark has to work hard just to survive. This is life or death in an animals case and clearly the shark is on the losing end of this battle. Maybe its the hype that sharks get from popular culture that make them the favored pick of a lot of people. Anyway, I'm basing the battle off of facts and not favoritism, unlike a good majority of the populace. I suggest many of you should do the same.
