In 2006 Travis Pastrana makes the first double backflip and earns clear gold, today in 2016, 10 years later a guy does the same backflip and almost earns the gold again (If it was not for Strong's frontflip, the normal double backflip guy would win ) ... many people are doing maneuvers, but the maneuvers themselves have evolved little ... Taka Higashino wins 2 golds in a row (2012/2013) with the same maneuver and in 2016 they do the same maneuver, but only by taking a hand or 2 of the bike at the landing ... I know it's difficult, I know, but the maneuvers have evolved little since Pastrana ... There was a maneuver that Travis tried a lot to do, I do not remember right, but it looks like it was a double 360 flip, To this day has anyone managed to do it? Or even with variations? That would be the fucking evolution. Enough of backflips with rock solid, double backflips normal ...

That front flip was sick. These guys really have taken the sport to a completely different level. It goes without saying that Travis Pastrana has opened the door for freestyle and made the sport what it is today. Gotta love it. Also @ 4:15 Axell Hooces or Hooges or however you spell it goes "ya I popped my shoulder out, dislocated it. No problem, just popped it back in and got back out there to pull more insane tricks that could kill me or fuck my life up forever... no big deal... These guys are crazy. pure warriors if you ask me. I wish I had half the drive that these freestyle guys have.
