Since then I have had numerous shark encounters including one where a sand shark brushed my chest which made me bleed because of its abrasive skin. On another occasion a 14ft. tiger shark nudged my foot as it dangled over the side of my board. It struck my foot with its dorsal fin as it departed. I have no fear of sharks, yet great respect.
So go ahead bwahaha ha and get you a boat, but stay out of the water. The scent of your fear will incite an attack.
