YES , YES YOU BLOODY SHOULD .
People will literally bitch about anything, it really is quite fucking obnoxious.
Of course these are all the same people who wouldn't do or say shit in the real.
I have devoted hundreds of hours to the back-breaking labor of improving trout streams that were ruined by farming. I feed wild birds. And I have personally erected hundreds of wood duck nesting boxes, bluebird houses, swallow apartments, wren houses, and other bird houses.
Nature needs us to intervene and it's not, usually, hunters and sport fishers who are doing the damage. We have a vested interest in preserving nature because we depend upon it for so very much.
What have you actually done to preserve the environment?
He wasn't trying to bait him,..he was trying to feed him. LOL
Both fish are damn thieves, an example of the food order. The original bait fish was the innocent party. LOL
Who? Me?
LOL !
Has there been any reports of PEOPLE being attacked by those things?
Lucky there's a video of this at all. It's such a rare event to ever capture something like this.. Sorry he didn't stage the entire event and send his trained massive Grouper up to eat a 4 foot shark he staged on his fishing pole.
People get free content, of an amazing event, and decide to bitch about it. lmfao. Idiot.
Pisses me off as much as it does when people take a FUCKING picture instead of a video.
Shout out to the pussy who got spooked
"Oh my god"
Nothing wrong with being hungry, being a pansy though? I think that's fucking pathetic. Then you all sit around a fire and brag about how big the fish you "caught" was lmfao
I just can't picture a man who "fishes" winning a fight, even against their 95lbs sister-wife.
The thought never even crossed my mind -_-
What about eating though? Don't people gotta eat?
I mean, I'm sure that some badass people killed and fought other badasses, but then they went and hunted for something to eat if they didn't wanna cannibalize their enemies...
So who isn't, then? Farmers and vegetarians? lol
1) he was trying to release the shark
2) we cant choose wtf gets caught on the line
3) that mf was gonna get eaten anyway.
.-. so whats the issue??
Lot of people here are oblivious to some facts on fishing, I'm assuming that they have never been fishing or know somebody who does fishing. Guys here are enjoying their day off fishing on the open seas. They might not be looking to catch a shark but caught one & are going to let it go. The chance of it being taken by a grouper 1 in 100,000 or so. And the notion that hook in the shark will kill the grouper slowly, are you for real I mean do you know that hooks are made to wrought away if left hooked in the fish. It will rust away in the stomach aswell maybe quicker.
Unless you're Jesus.
-------Акула в Норвегии"DUDE! LOOK! WE ACCIDENTALLY CAUGHT A SHARK!"
"We better let it go"
"WAIT! LET'S RECORD IT TO SHOW OUR FRIENDS FIRST!"
"Welllll"
"COME ON!!! IT WON'T TAKE LONG!!!!"
"Okay, and then we can cut the line on camera to show everyone that we're not monsters (0:30 mark) since we'd get our arms bit off if we tried to remove the hook"
"Allright, we got video, now to cut the li-"

"WHAT?!!?"
"Think people would be interested in a video of the shark being eaten by a grouper?"
"Would it be safe to post that?"
"Well, duh, obviously we did not intentionally feed the shark to the grouper. What kind of idiot would think we did?"
No, you know why?
BECAUSE THE CAMERA IS NOT IN THE WATER, IS NOT WET, AND IS NOT WATER PROOF!!!!
You did seem hostile...but you apologized, which is more than most people on Youtube, so it 's all right.
Well, if you read the comments, apparently it wasn't obvious to many people.
Um, if you read the whole thing, I was pointing out they didn't know the grouper was coming
First off:
"Shark fishing is illegal"
Only in some places and also if you look closely before it gets eaten, he has a knife and starts to cut the line, which would allow the shark to swim off, also the hook would eventually corrode away.
"Fishing as a hobby should be banned"
It's not the recreational fishermen/women who are over fishing, its the commercial ships that overfish.
Also "The shark would still be alive today if it wasn't for you"
Well, if the shark was alive, it would of eaten a hell of a lot of fish to stay alive so really they saved other fish from being eaten by an "innocent fish"
Prepare for the "ur an asshole" comments.
When you catch a big fish like a shark, you cannot reel it in within seconds because obviously it want to get away.
There is nothing these guys could have done to stop the grouper from eating it
Btw, if the grouper ate the shark naturally none of you fishhumpers would complain.

but when a shark does die, by humans or other fish, you want it to live.
hypocritical? maybe.... but i only came to read the comments and post my own :3

Watch: Grouper Slurps Down A Shark, Not A Typical Meal

The Atlantic goliath grouper (Epinephelus itajara) isn’t the meanest or fastest fish on the reef. It has neither venomous barbs nor impressive fangs. But as its name suggests, the goliath grouper does do at least one thing of note: It gets big. Darn big.
And as the saying goes, big fish eat little fish.
... (video)
Recently, that little fish was a four-foot shark .... ...
Though the Atlantic goliath grouper can grow up to 800 pounds (363 kilograms) and eight feet (2.4 meters) in length, it subsists almost entirely on smallish mud crabs. But it seems sometimes the goliath will sometimes make exceptions.
“From all available data, goliath grouper do not eat sharks,” said Dr. Matthew Craig, a National Geographic grantee and marine biologist at the University of San Diego in California. “That said, groupers in general are opportunistic feeders. If there is something that is an ‘easy’ meal that can fit in their mouths, they will go after it.”
Christopher Koenig, a biologist from Florida State University, confirms that groupers preying on sharks is unlikely under normal conditions. For one, goliaths don’t have the kind of teeth necessary for tearing through flesh.

I almost hate you for that comment
These guys did what humanity did for years in order to survive. To make you be where you are right now. Animals die every day, from other animals to humans. A species may die out but that doesn't mean the eco system is ruined. And that's not even the case here. Nature makes it's own things. And as the guy said, he was hunting legally. Means that species was not in danger of extinction in its race. And if it was, it'd be illegal to fish on those species until they have been recovered.
Nice video! I love the way nature is.
So I take it that that's an ordinary size grouper then come on

The fisherman no longer owns this video, he cashed in and made his 5 grand already. If we all ignore this video, the publisher won't make a return on his investment and might think twice about sponsoring animal cruelty in the future.
:D
" 30 seconds into the video you can see that these people has either :
a. tires this 4 footer shark that he can't put up a fight anymore
b. anesthetized'
we have people claiming that instead of fisherman fishing in large ecosystems they should fish in small ecosystems so they have less effect because large ecosystems host endangered species like sharks and instead it would clearly be much greater of an idea to fish in small ecosystems cause we don't need them anyway :)
we have people saying the hook in the groupers stomach will cause it to die a slow and painful death.
people claiming that they intended to catch the shark, clearly with zero understanding how by catch works particularly with that rod and reel set up, and that it is cruel to fish sharks? I mean as apposed to say a fish or some lessor form of life because of it's size? maybe I'm not to sure whatever floats there boat. Fully pledged vegetarians clealy that have never tasted any form of meet.
another comment for the eyes and I quote: "You gotta wonder about the kind of man who gets enjoyment out of killing other animals. Like "mmmmm its a pleasant Sunday arvo, might take the boat out and kill some baby shark. And if I can't be arsed dragging him in to do it, I'll just let him flail around a while till it attracts a grouper to snag him off the line". We got a name for that kinda person where I'm from."
more quotes: "white boys be like 'Lololol, let's be total douches and hunt an endangerend species!! A+ idea BRO'."
"YOU KNOW IT IS ILLAGAL IN ALL COUNTRIES OF THE WORLD TO HUNT SHARKS!!!!! WAIT NO IT IS LEGAL TO HUNT ALL SPECIES OF SHARK ARCORDING TO THE TOP COMMENTS OF THIS VIDEO!!!" need I say it.
"Fuck I hate people who fish for 'sport.' They're all arseholes. Leave these fish alone. No wonder the environment is being fucked over."
"In this clip you can see:
1. End of a young shark
2. And idots fishing without any respect for nature, all education went wrong for them"
Thanks for reading if you bothered to read this give it a thumbs up so we can see that we can claw back some decency in these comments. If anybody disagrees with what I'm saying drop a reply I'll be happy to talk :) props to the few using the thing between their ears gives me hope for the internet.
Also, shark fishing isn't ilegal everywhere, and not for every species, those of which still legal exist in abundance. Flake is a staple food in many, many places. So get off your ethnocentric high-horses and up shut your collective fucks.
Great talk, I look forward to surveying the footnotes for this profoundly insightful piece of literature.
you're rowdy as hell right now, boy.
with your Yeee Haw Cowboy! in the comments section- lookin ass.
Clint Eastwood, dirty harry mother fucker setting kids straight on the internet!
and for what? we're watching a fishing video on youtube.
what in fresh hell could be so rimmy rustlin' in this comment section to get you so tilted that you forgot how your space bar works?
lemme know, fam.
I'm curious.
And they die from horrible brain disease
I have hunted and fished for all of my fairly long life and I can damned-well guarantee you that I have done more to preserve the environment and it's organisms, including plants, than most people who are 100% against harvesting anything wild. License fees alone are a pretty big chunk but I have also contributed a lot of back-breaking labor to improving trout streams ruined by farming and erected hundred's, if not quite a thousand, wood duck nesting boxes. I have also devoted a lot of time and energy to convincing farmers to set aside as much property as they can afford to provide habitat for wild plants and animals.
I realize that there are a lot of idiots who show off their stuff on YouTube and I find a lot of it maddening but one can make a strong argument that there would be far fewer game fish and animals without the efforts of conscientious hunters and fishers.
Also, the majority of plants we eat have seeds. And when we eat leaves, they can re-grow them.
And I'm not a hypocrite because as I've written (you do know how to read, right?) whether or not someone eats meat is not the issue. The issue is the glorification of death on this video.
We all have to poop, but you don't see people applauding poop videos. Well ... maybe you do. But normal people, I mean.
"Firstly", so do fucking parasites, and not every plant "depends" on others eating them to survive, in fact a substantial number of plants release pheromones when attacked to signal insects and other organisms to fend of the attacker.
"Secondly", I am not justifying a damn thing nor have a love of death, I am just pointing out blatant hypocrisy of your naive claims.
Cry harder kid, it amuses me.
You want to fish? Fine. But leave it off the internet.
WE'LL SHOW HIM
Statisticly seen it's highly unlikely
This sort of thing happens all the time with fish they either end up in my belly or a bigger fish's belly so they aren't going to waist, so wipe the tears up hippies and try some fish.
He steals and runs
animal kills animal = that's nature for ya
human kills animal = you sick bastard, go kill yourself you small dick asshole
Therefore he showed his face at the end.
because I don't get it?
ربي كتب أجله قبل لا يموت باصطياد الرجل له
استوفى ربي ما قُدّر له بموته بإلتقام تلك السمكه له
a. tires this 4 footer shark that he can't put up a fight anymore
b. anesthetized
So yes this is a deliberate action and non-coincidental.
Can these fuckers let nature does their work themselves ?
That's what guys do when doing anything these days. People take pictures of what they're eating.
The video was edited to only show when the grouper showed up. Also, as I've pointed out, they tried to cut the line.
But your comment flat out accused these people of purposely catching a shark and trying to feed it to a grouper. As I pointed out before, at about 0:30, one of the guys reaches out his arm to catch and cut the line to free the shark (because if they try to get the hook out, the shark might rip their arm out because the shark won't realize they're trying to help)
So let me see if I understand this: instead of getting food on one's own, people should let large companies, who over fish, damage aquatic ecosystems on a MUCH LARGER SCALE?
Also, there are shelters one can survive in without damaging ecosystems to build them.
Fishing is done so people have something to eat, because not everyone wants to sit around and lets some guys who are overfishing with nets catch something for them all the time. The same goes for legal hunting (illegal is another matter)
Well, that's not what they were intending in the video.
Here's what most likely happened:
"DUDE! LOOK! WE ACCIDENTALLY CAUGHT A SHARK!"
"We better let it go"
"WAIT! LET'S RECORD IT TO SHOW OUR FRIENDS FIRST!"
"Okay, and then we can cut the line on camera to show everyone that we're not monsters (0:30 mark) since we'd get our arms bit off if we tried to remove the hook"
"Allright, we got video, now to cut the li-"

"Would it be safe to post that?"
"Well, duh, obviously we did not intentionally feed the shark to the grouper. What kind of idiot would think we did?"
Building towns and cities caused more animals to go extinct than any form of hunting, because it causes loss of habitat. Do you feel bad for living in a house because of it? http://curiosity.discovery.com/question/what-leading-cause-extinction-era
The grouper is endangered...are you suggesting we should starve endangered animals?
They reach out their arm before the grouper is even visible. I watched this video over and over again to check.
Well, that's kind of how you catch large fish so, yeah, they probably did that.
Too far, man. Too far.
Let me explain: They're probably laughing because, what are the odds of accidentally catching a shark, and then the shark they caught suddenly being swallowed up by A GIANT FISH?
I would find it interesting that mothernature happens right in front of my eyes. (not necessarily death of animals)
You don't always get to see these things happen live, unless you spend most of the time in the ocean.
BTW, FASCINATED is the word I am using here. Not, laughing hysterically at the death of other animals.
You do realize that there are plenty of other fish getting eaten by bigger fish as we speak. How is it wrong to be fascinated of mothernature?
You are making this too much of a big deal and being too over sensitive.
They're for they are, not their...
"Whoa! That is amazing! And we got it on camera! Awesome!"
So basically, they were fascinated by the incident.
they play minecraft ... im pretty sure you shouldnt be taking them seriously
The large grouper was a friend of the little gummy shark.
It was actually a rescue mission.
