Jesse Leach has been around since 1998, and he still has his voice. But sooner or later they will lose their voice, after surgery you can still scream but it's not recommended. Go watch that movie Alvin and the Chipmunks, it might be made for kids but it has something real in it. They don't scream neither use playback, but from going from tour to another you don't have any strength to sing at all. I'm not a musician but i know some things.
