Modern sharks are classified within the clade Selachimorpha (or Selachii) and are the sister group to the rays. However, the term "shark" has also been used for extinct members of the subclass Elasmobranchii outside the Selachimorpha, such as Cladoselache and Xenacanthus, as well as other Chondrichthyes such as theholocephalid eugenedontidans. Under this broader definition, the earliest known sharks date back to more than 420 million years ago.[1] Acanthodians are often referred to as "spiny sharks"; though they are not part of Chondrichthyes proper, they are a paraphyletic assemblage leading to cartilaginous fish as a whole.

and the music UGH
Have a good day as well!
They kill countless creatures in this movie : They almost drown turtles, kill sharks just because they consider them being monsters, speed their boat on whales, maiming them til they die in agony and the most crazy part : In order to quickly reference living species in the area, they dynamite the whole coral barrier (because who cares about the eco-system's balance) and check all the animals that got killed in the explosion. Not to mention all the other stuff i prefered to forget.

Every one of y'all don't know s**every one of you guys comments are retarded. They are doing their job the way they are doing it for a reason. First of all you use the hooks so you can tie your the shark out before they are close, and the reason why they are getting them close is because they are getting blood samples in case you forgot, not just tagging. There are other reasons why they have them on that platform as well for instance they are going under the belly of the shark to insert the internal audio tag that's where you want it at that spot I'm not going to lie I don't remember the reason. Everyone of you faggets Are so negative, and stupid, and naive, I agree it is a bit dramatized...More than a bit, but that's reality TV what do you expect. You got to make it interesting because all they did was tagged bag and release if you please sure it could have been done in 10 minutes but then there's no show ,Dumbasses! These days people with their naive comments is so repulsive. Stop being so concerned about how the Sharks feel.. they are fine. Everyone of you act like you haven't a clue and it is obvious because of your comments, so on enlightened, so clueless, so ungrateful, so f***** stupid.
...Oh.
