Digital Pictures was the FMV studio behind Sega CD classics like Sewer Shark and Night Trap, but their story didn't start at Sega. In fact, Digital Pictures story dates back all the way to the early 80s . From a partnership with Atari founder Nolan Bushnell, to working with a famous toy manufacturer, and even becoming a developer for the ill-fated Sony-Nintendo Play Station. I apologize for the 2nd notification but due to YouTube demonetizing the original video I released I had to publish this version which has already gone through manual review. The only difference between this video and the original I published are 3 words. So there's no need to re-watch if you already watched the first one... that is unless you really want to :-)The GameShark video is still coming, I promise! Due to some potential new contacts for the GameShark video I had to delay editing it but it will be the next video.

Wrestling With Gaming YouTube is getting annoying with their censorship and music copyrights. I had my first video blocked in the US due to background music in the store I was documenting. I had to dub over my video with crappy "approved" music, but it killed the ambiance of what I was documenting.

Yeah, it's a bit frustrating being a YouTuber right now. I think in a year or so things will be better. once YouTube's AI gets better at identifying videos that really are non advertiser friendly and some of those bad apple accounts are weeded out it won't be as much of a hassle. I appreciate you guys being understanding of the second post.

lol no. It was one of the senators saying "murder of women" in the first couple of minutes. It may actually have been "it advocates the murder of women" so a little more than 3 words but I think you get what I mean. It was literally jsut a few words. the funny thing is that this version actually includes that phrase and the one that was demonetized doesn't. So technically this is the "edgier" version. lol

Yep lol. If anything this version of the video is technically "worse." Basically this is the first version i uploaded to youtube. It immediately got demonetized and was stuck in manual review for a while. It was taking so long to be reviewed that I started uploading slightly different versions to youtube in the hopes that one of them wouldn't get demonetized. On one of the versions i uploaded I removed one of the senators saying "murder of women" and boom, it was monetized and that's the version that's been up since Monday.

But yesterday I noticed that that one had also become demonetized. At some point my original video, this one, got approved through manual review so I decided it's best just to publish this version since it's already gone through the review process. Fun times huh? lol

I'd love for FMV games to make a real comeback. There are a few modern ones out there but they lack the charm of the 90s crop of games imo.

It's unfortunate that a really good video is tainted with Sony propoganda.... Nintendo didn't stab Sony in the back, Sony tried to screw Nintendo by taking all the royalties from th CD based games and claim exclusive rights to any IP from theCD based games...

Grok4Spock I'd argue that being in an agreement for a product and then revealing a new partnership/product at a large-scale conference is a "stab in the back."

Sony was far from generous with the CD royalties, but Nintendo didn't break that arrangement or renegotiate before partnering with Phillips (at least, as I understand it from my time reading about the sequence of events) so Nintendo was far from innocent in it all.

Night Trap got an outcry from the US Government and to have an Age Rated Video Game Rating System ESRB Rated Night Trap with an M for Mature for Violence Against Women and an Attack on Women! 23 Years Later the US Government done nothing to stop misrating abuse and ESRB Gave an T for Teen on Night Trap 25th Years Ago! In 2017 there was no Outcry from the US Government on PS4's Night Trap on it's Violence Against Women and it's Attack on Women!
