I don't think Jaws 3 should be on list. Other Jaws sequels were garbage, but Jaws 3 delivered on the excitement and feel of being in the water with a dangerous animal. And the characters were likable. The intentional 3D shots are funny too, I think that's most of them pay homage to the oldest 3d movie monster movies.

I do find sharks scary mainly cause you're in their ocean, but these movies are ridiculous.
I also think it would be terrifying if a full sized Megalodon existed in the ocean today because it could swallow anyone whole so easily. And now I just thought, couldn't or shouldn't that make a Megalodon less scary? We're practically like a fly next to a full grown Megalodon, it'd be like a Great White going after shrimp or plankton. Maybe if there was a bunch of us together, then a Megalodon would try gulping us like a Humpback whale would eat plankton. It'd probably be more likely to just accidentally catch us in its mouth while trying to eat something else, it wouldn't even notice us.

Sharks in Venice probably rates as one of my all time worst films, alongside Tokyo Gore Police.

There's a scene I could swear that shows the main character getting eaten, you see a leg float past and then in the very next scene, he's back. No explanation, no indication of a dream sequence, nothing. He's just there again like nothing happened...

Cinamamassacre, I dunno if you found out by now, but its a true fact about the shark in red water, I did animal studies in college and I can say for certain that Bull Sharks like the one in red water are perfectly capable in living in salt water, river water and brackish water. in the 2011 Brisbane floods, my home states capital had bull sharks end up in the flooded city streets because Brisbane City is built on the Brisbane River which bisects the city. And in Chermside, they even managed to swim into the Chermside Shopping Centre.

The shark from Jaws the Revenge does roar, but the shark in the original did as well. If you listen you can hear it as the shark is dying in the original. Spielberg said the audio was from one of his earlier movies. (Dule?)

Ok.... One thing that gets me about that "Dino-shark" movie.... Couldn't they have just used a megalodon? That's a real Dino-shark that existed. And if that's redundant (which, let's be honest, it is), then why not some other prehistoric sea monster, like the mosasaurus? Then it would be slightly more original and creative. Emphasis on slightly.
