To all those saying this beast isn't or wasn't ever real. They were real and they very literally the biggest predator of all time weight wise. The mosasaur was the longest without a doubt. It isn't known as solid evidence that it died out nor do we know its still alive as only 5% of our oceans have been explored. However with it being around 60 feet long could make it an issue for hiding but there is a chance. I personally think IF and only IF this beast is alive it has to be in suspended animation somewhere deep under water. The only thing that could prove this legendary monster is alive is 1 washing up on a beach. As yet that sadly hasn't happened. Now please understand I do NOT wish to cause any fights or call people liars. This is simply what I've read up and looked on google. Granted it may not all be accurate but the majority of it will be correct. Have a gooden guys !!

Megalodons may still exist, no pure skeletons have been discovered, just some dozen teeth, jaw pieces, and vertebrae. Evidence of Megalodon proving that it's existence is this, (Watch Ridddle 'Who Lives At The Bottom Of The Mariana Trench' for more info.) the point that Megalodon does feed on whales and I say it's habitat is now the Mariana Trench, is because yes it goes into warm waters to breed. And how is the bottom of a trench warm with close-to-freezing temperatures? Well it's because of hydrothermal vents. They spit water out hotter than 662°F, you may think it evaporates, but because of the pressure, the density of the water vapor is held into a liquid state, so it doesn't vaporize. Also, if Megalodon fed on squid, there can be squid in twilight levels or in abyssal. And of course, the pressure. Megalodons have weight of 60 tons. And every square inch in the abyssal zone of the Mariana Trench is about more than a thousand pounds, at the very bottom, water pressures are more than extreme to bend iron, squeeze every gap of air in your body until you get crushed, and all that weight above is enough to kill almost every life form. But still Megalodon may dwell above the abyssal zone where those pressures advance. But life still exists at the very bottom of the trench. At almost 11 kilometers, people have found all sorts of stuff. Flat fish, blind shrimp, plankton, algae and spidet crabs that thrive near hydrothermal vents. And plus 5% of the oceans have been explored. Less than how much space alone has been known. So there are chances that Megalodon may exist or not. But there's one thing for sure, we don't know currently. So reply on this comment and let me know what you think.
