Even from the planning stages of our South East Asia trip, the Perhentian Islands were top of our list of places to visit in Malaysia. The promise of paradise beaches and crystal clear waters was something we wanted to see for ourselves. I won't lie, getting there was a bit of mission with internal flights from Kuala Lumpur, airport transfer and fast boat across to the islands. However once we stepped off the boat onto to the pier and spotted the beach and the clear waters, we weren't disappointed. We knew we wanted to teach the girls to snorkel here in warm waters, teaming with fish. Watch the video to see how our 2 year old and 4 year old got on. What we didn't realise that is how good the snorkeling would be off the beach, we found a garden of Nemo's (Clown Fish) and I (Felicity) even swam with a huge turtle 20m from the shore. We did this trip at the end of SEA tour and it was the perfect end to our 8 months in Asia.
