I snorkel in the waters of Thailand. And yes it is salt water. My phone has nothing attached or anything. Exactly as you open the box brand new. As you can see and hear in the video you can hear the bubbles and me blowing bubbles while completely submerged. I swam to about 7 or 8 feet under. Please sub and thanks for viewing. This happens to me most of the time when im in the water long enough. Sometimes it takes a couple hours for the microphone and speakers to work again and other times it can take around a day and a half! +Kim Kimi Sure it can Handle i have my Previews Phone Galaxy S5 i swam in the pool about 6 meters no affect at all it's fine Just Make sure the USB cover is Well sealed and Back battery cover closed well

+FantasyNero I'll give a try, so just swim in the pool and it'll be fine? I've dipped it in water for a few minutes but I'm afraid much movement in the water will somehow disrupt the device, so can it really handle it? like no case?

If you go to swim in pool you can reply call faster even it in emergency call it will be easier and faster than normal phones

Galaxy S5 is Good phone underwater but the issue only i have with it the water inside the speaker, as well for the Galaxy S7 Edge has speaker water inside issue.

+Bakr Jamjoom actually my phone did die before by simply dropping my phone into a vase of water for testing. But I think it was from the bang at the bottom of the vase that that little bit of water to get into my phone and hit the right spot. Anyway I got my phone fixed then a month or so later yea I went snorkeling with it since I already bought a replacement phone before my S5 was fixed. And ironically 8ft deep in sea water and no problems. ha!

not surprised the audio cuts out. the phone is only ip67 rated. pretty sure thats like 3 feet for <30 seconds. this is both ballsy and impressive. cool video

ILuvTrading samsung phones are tough. !!! I used mine in the tub and forgot to close the tab on the bottom and water got in it but the next day it was working fine no rice it was a bit glitchy for a week but went back to normal
