I was wondering if you can confirm this: I have a GOPRO hero 5. I do only snorkeling... I mean no more than 3 meters deep... Can you confirm I DO NOT need any red filter for my GOPRO?
Thanks
That's blue water, right? I've lost track of my dive certification, so I'm stuck with snorkeling. I need a red filter down to 30 feet or so?
also, I got a hero 5 session for fathers day, and no idea which filter to get for fitment to a standard waterproof housing (I know, its rated to 33ft already, but got a housing too)

I was browsing about red filters.
Thanks so much!
I see what you did there

...And whats happens at depths below 20-30-40 meters? Whether at those depths we may use red or magenta filters or it is necessary to use underwater lighting together with filters?
I would also like to ask which are the best settings for GoPro 4 Silver at great depths in video mode, but also in the time laps(0,5-1-2 sec.) mode?
Thank you
?
eng: Oh god... there is some finnish guys D:
Have you by any chance tried the Polar Pro Snorkeling filter?
It is supposed to be specifically for shallow water. (Already ordered the 3-pack from Polar Pro: Red, Magenta, and snorkeling filter, but since the sea has frozen over where I live I won't be able to try it until our honeymoon trip in a couple of months) :)
maybe even cause he cant talk and kinda has to sum it up a little.
Great work and thank you for the good tips.
Maybe you can make an explanation video for settings and other things for riding bikes...
Thanks a lot and keep going this way, you are great
