no this just kinda helps you blow less to get the water out of the snorkel than traditional snorkel

Hey Bertie, No the snorkel only traps the air inside the snorkel to stop any water getting in. You won't be able to breathe under the surface so you'll have to hold your breath if you dive under the surface.
