It's our day at Disney's Castaway Cay on our Disney Cruise for Disney Social Media Moms Celebration! It is Disney's beautiful private island in the Bahamas! We also went here on on our August cruise, and we loved it! We knew the kids would want to spend some time at the kid's club, so we went to the beach for a little while and then they went to Scuttle's Cove - the kid's club on the island. After they went to the kid's club, Dan & I went snorkeling at the family beach! And then headed to Serenity Bay, the adults only beach for a nice stroll! Join the Style Family! Thanks for subscribing! :) And yes, we did pay extra to snorkel - you can get the items on the beach and they just swipe your keycard to put it on your account. I believe it was around $30-ish? Thanks for watching! ♥

Yes, it was around $30 to rent the equipment, but then otherwise you can just come and go as you please! :)

Did you feel comfortable leaving your belongings by themselves while snorkeling? My boyfriend and I will be going on the Fantasy at the beginning of September and since it will just be the two of us I'm trying to figure out what to do with our things while snorkeling, riding the AquaDuck, etc. BTW, love the videos! They are making me so excited for our cruise!

We just left it on the chair and it was secure. I only had my backup camera and phone - so kind of relying on the good of society, but we've done that both times and it has been okay, I would just wrap it in a towel so it isn't sitting out. (Also so it isn't sitting in direct sun.) Thanks for watching!

Hey dear! :) No gasping, haha! These are just the vacation vlogs from our trip, since it was split into so many parts to be easily searchable on YT - our week and a half trip was about 2 weeks worth of vlog uploads. After our trip is over it goes into random other videos, we made slime, some food videos, and then we'll have some DITL from home coming up.

I have been enjoying these videos so much. When you're trapped in the real world it's nice to escape through someone's camera lens especially when it is Disney. Okay, so this is probably a stupid question but while you are snorkeling and at Serenity Bay how does sunscreen get reapplied to your kids. Do the cast members do it or are you back and forth having to do it?

I agree with you, I love watching Disney vlogs to escape! ;) And you have to go back and forth to reapply the sunscreen, they will not put it on. So we went over a few times to reapply. There is a lot of shade in Scuttle's Cove - but especially in the hot months, I would plan that into your schedule to run over and reapply! :)

Dropping the kids off is the best part of a cruise. They get to go somewhere super fun and the adults get some vacation time together. :)

Haha!! Trust me, if I could figure out a way to just stow away on the island, I would! ;) It's beautiful! Serenity Bay is very peaceful!

Is the snorkeling for adults only? It looks like fun!

Children can snorkel, but they need to be fairly strong swimmers to be able to see anything. You have to swim out quite a distance (and in fairly deep water) to be able to see the different things "hidden" out there, my girls would not be able to swim that far yet. It is really fun!
