Not quite - All Safari Charge Air Rams feature a highly effective water separator system built right into the air ram in order to remove rain water from the incoming air stream - thus ensuring safe engine operation through even the most torrential tropical storms. An added benefit of the unique Safari Charge Air Ram is that it can be rotated to any position. Awesome video, thanks for sharing. I have a 2011 Tacoma and Safari finally has a snorkel that is specifically designed for the 2nd gen Tacoma's. Im looking into investing in a Safari Snorkel but the only issue I have is I no longer have the stock air intake it has been replaced with a TRD CAI. The orifice of the air intake box is 4" across and my question to you will the coupler that comes with the snorkel fit the TRD CAI? Is there any way you can find out from a ARB rep if the Safari Snorkel is compatible to be installed onto a TRD CAI? I know there are a lot of Tacoma owners with this situation. It would be awesome if you post a video in the future showing an install of a Safari Snorkel into a TRD CAI.

But slightly off topic, One thing nobody seems to mention with any "modern" off road'er is what about the electrical contacts etc, going through all that mud/water/dust?
Is their any protection for these?
