how about the fact that with diesel you give it more fuel and it wants a bigger turbo and next week you give it more fuel and more air. and more fuel and more air, thus raising the hp and doubling+torque. pulling 15k# and beating Camaros at the track on the week end. petrol has so many more parts to manage and is not easy pulling power out of safely. diesel can be substituted with cooking oil and even make you own bio diesel. add propane, nitrous and water/methanol. some will run on any fuel!!!

no diesel is trash. slow as hell smells like hell sounds like whenever the engine is running there is a midget inside shaking a bucket of nuts and bolts. the only thing diesel will ever have over gasoline is better fuel econemy. Also my coil spark plugs and distributer are exposed and my engine runs great through water. Petrol rules diesel drivers just think they are top shit because they paid more for their vehicles I would rather drive a petrol than push a diesel

Is it possible to use RTV to seal the distributor cap and silicone to seal the spark plug wires? I'm not sure what could be used around the plugs though. One would have to consider the fuse panel and all the electrical connections as well too.

a diesel engine, it does not have coils and distributors. and no, what a fool back on gasoline does not enter! and 80 new electric Landtsruiser hardly connected with the engine.

Electrical stuff is almost always sealed up good enough for that in a jeep or anything, plus most cars are pretty sealed... Thats why water doesnt get in when you wash it lol

No I've had it all the way to the windows and not a drop on the interior. Just last summer I drove all the way down to the Nayarit Mexico on a surf/4x4 trip,15,000 miles round trip no issues what so ever.

Sorry I meant truck or 4x4, but a Hilux is a type of Toyota Pickup and all I had to do for mine is put a ARB snorkel on it and make sure all the air intake system was water tight "according to the dealer" so thats what I did and I've had it up to the windows in water multiple times mostly when I go down to Mexico and I've not had any problems at all for the 6 years 175,000 miles I've had it and I paid only $5,000.00 for the truck and $300.00 for the snorkel system.

lots of cars sold overseas are pre sealed from the factory for water crossing, my hilux is so sealed if I slam my doors with the windows up my door wont shut all the way.
