Just click here or go to http://topflightfamily.com/cabo Cabo Sails is run by a husband-and-wife team and has been providing tours and charters for 13 years. Owner Serena Malcolm met us at the marina, and showed us their fleet of sailboats. We booked the Espiritu Santi, a 44-foot Coronado that is the only 100% green eco-friendly sailboat in Cabo. It's powered by solar panels and an electric engine, so is completely quiet as it runs. We were introduced to our awesome crew, and were about ready to go. But first... beer! We sailed out to the Sea of Cortez, where we saw some of Cabo's most famous landmarks: Lover's Beach, The Arch, and the other rock formations. We had plenty of company out on the water. Our girls had fun waving to the other folks who were sailing or paddle-boarding by. We sailed out to Pelican's Rock, where we did a little snorkeling. The captain gave us some tortilla chips to feed the fish with. I'm not sure if we were in a bad spot, or if we just had bad luck that day, but other than these fish, we didn't see a whole lot underwater. We got back on the boat, just in time to enjoy some appetizers: crudites, chicken taquitos, beef burritos, cheese quesadillas, and guacamole and chips. Our daughter was in a generous mood, and had a good time feeding the seagulls that gathered around. We also spent some time lounging around in floating chairs, which was a fun way to enjoy the water. All in all, this private sailboat tour is great for kids of all ages. And they'll enjoy it in different ways. Our 6-year-old was excited to participate in all the activities, while our 3-year-old went straight into chill mode, and spent much of the tour napping under the warm sun. --- Here are a few insider tips to make your experience the best that it can be. Insider Tip 1: Bring your own music If you've got music on your iPod or iPhone, they can hook it up to the sound system so you enjoy your own tunes. Insider Tip 2: Design your own itinerary The great thing about a private tour is that you set the agenda yourself. Since we were already going on a whale watching tour later that week, we decided to skip the whale watching on this tour, and focused on snorkeling instead. Insider Tip 3: Bring your own towels Cabo Sails doesn't provide towels on the boats, so be sure to bring your own. The water can be a bit cool, so you'll definitely want to be able to dry off and warm up.
