On a serious note, lobsters should be caught alive. Spearing it and waiting to cook it that night can be deadly. Lobsters start decaying immediately after death creating toxic bacteria. So keep lobster alive until ready to cook!!

Brenda you don't understand lion fish are invasive and don't belong here. They destroy our reefs and have no predators thus taking over and putting the natural balance of our native fish in peril. EVERY one of them should be killed on site. Period.

Hey, Lionfish are an invasive spec. in the Caribbean and Atlantic waters, meaning that they were mistakenly introduced and are now wiping out many of the local species. In 1 week time they can drop up to 30,000 eggs and nearly eat that many fry of local spec. so the imbalance comes from this fish being in our waters where there is nothing to keep them in check.

Lionfish are an invasive species. If we don't get rid of them, a lot of the grouper and snapper population will decrease. There's absolutely no benefit at all to let them inhabit our waters.

Lionfish are NOT native to those waters. They reproduce fast, and kill off other helpful species such as algae-eating parrotfish, allowing seaweed to overtake the reefs. They only started showing up in those waters in the mid 80's. If left unchecked they'll kill off entire ecosystems and fish species.
